Lisa is AIR’s President and General Counsel. Lisa served for 13 years as Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary for Aimco. Lisa had increasing levels of responsibilities across the company, serving as a cross-functional leader of the organization. In addition to serving as General Counsel, Lisa has had responsibility for construction services, asset quality and service, insurance, risk management, human resources, dispositions nationwide, and Aimco’s acquisition activities in the western region. She has also previously served as chairman of Aimco’s investment committee. Lisa joined Aimco in July 2002 as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel. Prior to joining the Company, Lisa was in private practice with the law firm of Hogan & Hartson LLP (now Hogan Lovells) with a focus on public and private mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financing, securities, and corporate governance. Before joining Hogan & Hartson, she spent two years as a Federal judicial law clerk. Lisa earned her undergraduate degree (with honors and distinction) in public policy from Stanford University and earned her law degree (cum laude) from Harvard Law School and served on the Harvard Law Review, including as managing editor. Lisa serves on the NAREIT Advisory Board of Govenors. Lisa is also active in her community. She serves on the Board of Trustees of the Craig Hospital Foundation. She previously served on the Rose Community Foundation Board of Trustees. She also previously served as chairman of the Board of Trustees of Denver Jewish Day School. Lisa has also served in a variety of other volunteer and philanthropic leadership positions. Lisa is a Denver native and met her now husband at her first high school youth group event.
